Why is physical development important in early school age?
Early school age is a crucial period for proper body development and posture, as well as for the development of coordination, balance, strength, and overall stability. During this period, children build the foundations of mobility and movement control, which are important not only for physical health but also for concentration, for safety in movement, and successfully performing daily activities. Movement positively affects motor, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
